Yes, this very issue in older versions of RMT, where purchased Atoms would disappear after deleting and reinstalling the app, forced us to rework the entire purchase and receipt system. Only with the latest versions (with the addition of Restore mode on the homepage) has RMT learned to check old receipts.
But this works for purchases already in the latest versions of RMT.
