RNG Curve in EXCEL (Gaussian Normal Distribution)

2. Let's throw away pedal Vasya. Can you beat a simple Excel RNG (EXCEL), not on individual spins, but in general? If not, all talk about Vasya is pointless.

RNG without adaptivity = this is a column in Excel, when you create a series of any length yourself using the formula =RANDBETWEEN(0;36)

Unlike the casino, Excel doesn't know why you need such a column and can't specifically insert counter-scheme generations )))

But the crooked RNG generator in EXCEL is a very primitive thing. Several years ago we stopped discussing it and consider it unsuitable as a standard for work.

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////

1) column B: =RANDBETWEEN(0;36) column for 1000 random numbers from EXCEL

2) set the second dozen of the range boundaries

3) column C: spin result =IF(AND(B2>=$G$1;B2

For the sake of completeness of the experiment, we will repeat exactly the same generations for narrower areas of the range 0-36:

It would seem that everything is correct... we received a planned minus on different types of bets.

But is it really that "planned"?
We take the results, calculate the amount of money placed and calculate the norm as -2.7% of the mathematical expectation:

We see that in all 3 cases of 34,000 spins, the middle section of the 0-36 range shows a CLEARLY LESS Win number than normal.

We know that if something freezes somewhere, then something else is warming up. The second dozen of the EXCEL GSC is always cooled down ))))

In fact, the EXCEL rng is a Gaussian hat of normal distribution, but shifted to the side. Where? This will be homework for those who want it. Everything is very simple at Microsoft.

Another thing is that Andrey FoxDuhovny writes correctly in his answer to alt2005:

What do you mean by a simple Excel RNG? And why should I beat it? What result will I get from winning? How will I use it? I don't see the point!
What is the point of knowing the betting spot on the field, which in EXCEL will give +1% to bets on 100,000 spins?

Playing casino roulette = it's always GET A PLUS IN A SHORT PERIOD with a limited supply of money. And there is a kingdom of distortions in generations, collisions, templates, current trends and of course, pedal Vasya ))))

Andrey FoxDuhovny either does not understand what they are writing to him, or is just putting on a show. And you are there too. What does the Excel RNG have to do with it? Well, let's take numbers from the Mersenne vortex. Or from the archives of real numbers, at least Wiesbaden, at least Hamburg. There are plenty of them on the Internet. And there is no pedal Vasya there, it's just a set of numbers. And what, you or Fox will be able to beat these sets?

And check out this empty phrase:
FoxDuhovny wrote: And there is still no simple RNG, since the very concept of a random event is purely theoretical, it's like an ATOM - like indivisible.
Again some kind of circus with horses. Nothing to say - let's engage in sophistry? Well, let's also talk about neutrons, protons and a spherical horse in a vacuum.

You know, in life it's like this: some people engage in empty talk, others in real research. Decide for yourself which group you want to be in.

Well, yes, you pushed Gvuss aside :) He can't answer you...

There's some kind of gloom in the tournament in Profit. Straight doesn't fall out 200 spins, split - 300. As soon as you get to the first place in the table, they start to lose hopelessly. I quit playing. I'll get some kind of handout. I'd better try to win back the bonus in BV. That's how it turns out. Where else is it possible to play, they don't withdraw money from there and vice versa.
And how will Gauss react to "Straight doesn't fall out 200 spins, split - 300". Will he write it off to bad luck and deviations?
If you bet on red in a casino and you're stubbornly unlucky, try betting on red!

There is also this - "the one who can win - goes and wins, the one who can't - teaches others how to do it" ... :) (this is from statements about many athletes and their coaches)
Don't try to beat the game - try to beat a specific opponent! The ball will stop where it runs out of power to run forward...
