Hello, alt2005

I'm trying to solve the problem using your tables, but something isn't working yet.

Standard neighbor bet 5 numbers.
Probability of dropping 5/37 = 13.51%

1) Does this mean that on average the bet will win every 7.4 moves?

2) Sometimes such a bet will play more often, sometimes much less often than once in 7.4 moves. If we set the norm at 2 sigma, then how to calculate for any arbitrary set of 5 numbers how many wins fell within the given range, and how many were outside it?

I probably confused you.
The table contains a history of spins.
At the top I write 5 numbers: 1,20,14,31,9
Next I write the required distance: 3-11

How to count how many times these 5 numbers were repeated within 3-11 spins from the last win, and how many times faster or longer than 3-11?
Drink - don't get drunk. Play - don't act out!

In Windows it is not easy to rename the extension. I had to install Total Commander.

It worked when I enabled macros and reopened the file.

I'm posting it as promised.
Be sure to enable macros, otherwise nothing will work. It is advisable to rename the file to "samples.xlsm" (files with this extension cannot be attached here, apparently)
Basic operations:
- calculation of distances to repetitions (future and past)
- temperature calculation
- finding a room with a given temperature
- calculation of the frequency of occurrence of a number in a given interval
- string operations

OK, I'll post it. But not today.
First I'll prepare the file, it takes a little time. Throw out the unnecessary, put it in order, make instructions. If you're going to post it, then post it properly ))

There is a method for determining the randomness of a series of at least 50 numbers, but such 50 current numbers need to be collected, 100 is 5 thousand spins...
However, there is a hypothesis that in such a study, only one out of 100 numbers will belong to the RNG.
