Meanwhile, the reduction in profits is not the only problem that the owner of the Tigre de Cristal casino has faced. The company is concerned about the new tax reform that came into force on July 1 of this year. It puts clients from Russia and abroad in an unequal position. Thus, local players must pay a 13% tax on winnings, while for foreigners it is 30%. According to the representative of the gambling company, this will significantly alienate potential foreign clients and negatively affect the company's revenue.

Altai Krai gambling zone is falling into decline

The main sources of income from the gambling business to the regional treasury are legal bookmakers, whose betting points operate in the region, as well as the gambling zone "Siberian Coin". Today, only one casino complex, "Altai Palace", operates on its territory. There are no foreign investors at the facility. For some time, an American athlete and current member of the Council of Deputies of the Krasnogorsk urban district, Jeff Monson, owned a share of the casino, but later he sold it.

The revenues to the Altai Territory treasury from gambling organizers are declining.

According to the report published on the official website of the executive authority for financial issues, the total amount of revenue from this segment of the economy for the first six months was 16.3 million rubles. At the same time, it is noted that 21.8 million rubles were allocated in the first half of 2018.

The sole investor Vladimir Kutyev expressed the opinion that IRKZ does not have impressive prospects. Experts believe that the reason for the lack of interest of all companies in the development of "Siberian Coin" is the lack of infrastructure and its remoteness from large cities.
