You can learn
the game of blackjack using the basic strategy in half an hour, but it hasn't worked for a long time. Today, blackjack is one of the most profitable games for casinos, since idiots bring casinos about 4% of their turnover (blackjack math).
ForBlack Jack, losing is that you lose all those cases when you bust before the dealer. The dealer simply stops and no longer takes cards, but takes your money. In other cases, you are completely equal, no matter what you do at the table. And you will periodically bust 100%, because that is the point of the game.
In the old days, blackjack in casinos was played with a stack of up to 3 decks and it was possible to count the number of tens and pictures in the stack, which could give the player an advantage over the casino. Such players are called
"counters", because they count the cards and wait for a "hot" deck.
In the movies, counters are shown as mathematical geniuses. In those distant times, there were few of them and they went from one casino to another and all the managers knew them by sight. When even lazy students began to become counters,
casinos increased the number of decks and began to cut off half.
Counting cards became a pointless exercise, but
hundreds of variations of the basic BJ strategy appeared, in the form of a simple table giving commands in which cases it is worth adding cards to the current layout.
To play BJ successfully, you need to frequently vary your bets from the smallest to the insanely large ones when the deck gets "hot". Considering the mathematical risks and strong dispersion, you need to have a reserve of about 200 * 200 = 40,000 average bets and manage them correctly in order to withstand deep credit drawdowns on the swings of the overall dynamics.
All this makes blackjack in a casino not a way to earn money, but rather an adrenaline pump.
Many casino partners (affiliated webmasters) continue to support
the myth that blackjack can be calculated and made money on. There are tons of variations of that same "basic game strategy", but all of them are absolutely useless.
In fact,
the player IN ANY CASE gets caught in the whirlpool of a strong dispersion and it constantly seems to him that “if I had stopped in time...”, then he would already be a millionaire.
