Algorithm is a set of commands required to solve a particular problem. It defines the sequence of steps by which the task will be completed.

A good algorithm must be correct, reliable, and efficient. If it does not cope with the task at hand, it is of little use. It is also of no use if it gives the wrong solution.

Algorithm behavior.
Does it find the best possible solution or just a good one? Can there be several best solutions? Does it make sense to choose one over the other?

Algorithm speed.
Is it fast or not? Does it slow down only some inputs?

Resource requirements.
How many resources does it need? Is this amount acceptable? Does the algorithm need a powerful computer or additional hardware?

The main methods used in the algorithm.
Can they be reused to solve similar problems?
