Golden rules according to the author:

• Stand firm against any tempting excuses to distract yourself from the game.

• Do not play above the limits outlined in the When to Quit section.

• Once you have chosen a number, stick to it throughout the entire session.

• Play every spin, session from start to finish.

• Always double your bets after a win.

• Never walk away after winning.

Very controversial statements, on CMP this is called "digging your heels in", a rather dubious activity when it comes to playing roulette.
