Although there is no generally accepted universal mathematical definition of chaos, a commonly used definition states that a dynamical system that is classified as chaotic must have the following properties:
1) It must be sensitive to initial conditions.
2) It must have the topological mixing property.
3) Its periodic orbits must be dense everywhere.
The system must have nonlinear characteristics, be globally stable, but have at least one unstable equilibrium point of an oscillatory type, while fractal dimension of the system must be at least 1.5.
